Traces

What do a quarry, the Grande Bretagne Hotel and an olive mill have in common?

Traces

The traces project, by NWMW NPO, is based on the selection of nine landmarks in various places in Tinos and Athens Greece highlighting their cultural narrative and thus  contributing to the enrichment of the local cultural heritage of each place but also documenting through its implementation other

The Traces project and the web pages corresponding to the nine chosen landmarks have been created on the organization’s repository. At this time, their presentation is taking shape.

Nine landmarks highlight elements of Greece’s architectural and cultural heritage in the form of
qr-codes.

TRACES

The traces project links the Rigos family and its successors to the propagation of Tinian identity and at the same time highlight the relationships between arts, sciences and places.

NWMW’s “traces” project is a multi-faceted initiative to preserve cultural heritage, educate the public, strengthen cultural tourism while at the same time wanting to inspire local communities.

The reason is the journey of the Rigos family, whose main axis of development was the specialization in blacksmithing and then the expansion of its geographical and productive scope.
